Position Overview:
We’re looking for a talented Senior DevOps Engineer to join our team and help us manage and scale a SaaS platform running on AWS. This role is crucial for ensuring our infrastructure is reliable, scalable, and secure while supporting our development teams to deliver high-quality software efficiently. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in AWS infrastructure management, automation, monitoring, and incident response, along with a knack for optimizing cloud costs and ensuring security compliance.

Task Related and Certifications
- 5+ years in DevOps roles, with a strong focus on AWS. You’ve managed and scaled cloud infrastructure for SaaS platforms before.
- AWS Certified Solutions Architect or AWS Certified DevOps Engineer is a plus.
- Previous experience with SaaS products, especially in real-time communication is a plus.
Competencies and Soft Skills
- Proficient in infrastructure as code using Terraform or CloudFormation. You know your way around CI/CD tools like Jenkins, GitLab CI, etc. Docker and Kubernetes are your best friends.
- Solid understanding of networking principles and security best practices. Experience with monitoring tools (e.g. Prometheus) and logging solutions (ELK stack).
- Excellent at troubleshooting and solving complex issues. Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
- Effective communication skills, both written and verbal. You work well with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
- Familiarity with additional cloud providers (e.g., Azure, GCP) and hybrid cloud environments.
