Position Overview
We are looking for a motivated Senior Officer – Finance with proven leadership skills, expertise in MIS reporting, and a hands-on approach to support the Global Finance Manager in managing key financial operations. The candidate will oversee the work of team members, enhance MIS processes, and contribute to financial strategy and analysis.
Roles and Responsibilities
- Leadership & Team Coordination: a. Supervise and guide junior finance team members, ensuring clarity in roles and responsibilities. b. Facilitate skill development and training within the team to promote growth and efficiency. c. Monitor and maintain adherence to accounting and reporting timelines.
- MIS Reporting & Analysis: a. Manage comprehensive MIS reports to support strategic decision-making. b.Analyze financial data to identify trends, variances, and actionable insights. c. Collaborate with departments to ensure accurate and timely data flow into MIS systems.
- Support for Global Finance Initiatives: a. Assist the Global Finance Manager in strategic planning, budgeting, and forecasting. b. Participate in cross-functional projects, providing financial expertise. c. Identify areas of improvement in processes and suggest actionable solutions.
- Operational Excellence: a. Oversee payroll processing and ensure timely disbursements. b. Support accounts management, including reconciliation and follow-ups. c. Ensure compliance with internal policies and external regulations.
Skills and Qualifications Task Related skills and Certifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. A professional qualification or background (e.g., ACCA, CA) is a plus.
- Experience: Minimum 3–5 years in a similar role, with team management experience.
Competencies and Soft Skills
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., Xero, tally), advanced Excel skills, and familiarity with MIS tools.
- Soft Skills: Strong leadership, analytical thinking, and communication skills.
- Attributes: Detail-oriented, proactive, and a team player.
